Jake Briggs

I attended and graduated from Mansfield University in Mansfield, PA May of 2003 with a B.S. in Business Administration, emphasis in Marketing.

Shortly after graduation I located an entry-level position with nationally recognized Penske Truck Leasing in the Binghamton, NY area. After spending 2.5 years with PTL in Binghamton, I was promoted to an Outside Sales Representative position in Buffalo, NY to help grow the rental and leasing sales in the Western New York (WNY) Market.

In 2006 I decided to make a career change to discover and learn more about the Staffing & Executive Search Industry as a Direct Hire Recruiter with Fortune 500 company; Manpower, Inc. Less than a year later I transitioned in June of 2007 to my current employer, Kelly Engineering Resources (Part of U.S. Based Fortune 500 Company, Kelly Services, Inc.) as a Search Consultant. I Provide contingency search practices for direct hire and engineering contract positions to various manufacturing and engineering service companies across Upstate New York.

It is important to be directly involved in the engineering community as I have been a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) since 2008 and recently elected Chairperson and Programs Chair for the ASME Buffalo Section. I also volunteer my time as an  member of APICS Buffalo Chapter (The Association of Operations Managment).
